Baal Aadhar Card Application Process

Offline:

• Firstly, visit the nearest Aadhar Enrollment Centre.
• Then, Get and fill out the Aadhar application form.
• Also, Fill out any one of the parent’s aadhar details in the form.
• Then, Biometric and IRIS scans of the parent will be taken.
• Submit the hard copy of the Birth Certificate/Discharge certificate along with the form.
• Photographs of the child will be taken.
• Finally, You will get the Acknowledgement slip with the enrollment number. Then, Use the enrollment number to know the status of your child’s aadhar card.

Online:

Enrolling the child’s aadhar card should be done both in online and the enrollment center.

• Firstly, visit the official website of UIDAI.
• Further, Select your preferred language to know the details in your own language.
• Now Click on the ‘My aadhar‘ tab, and under the Get Aadhar select ‘Book an Appointment‘.

• Also, select the preferred city to Book an Appointment at a UIDAI-run Aadhaar Seva Kendra. Click on Proceed to Book Appointment to book the appointment.

• Moreover, Enter your mobile number and CAPTCHA and click on Generate OTP.

• Enter the OTP and then select the date to visit the enrollment center.
• Visit the Aadhar enrollment center on the specified date.
• Also, Parent should visit the center and provide their biometric and aadhar details.
• Submit the required documents along with the application form.

Status of the Aadhar application:

Using the Enrollment ID, one can know their child’s Aadhar application status.

• Firstly, visit the official UIDAI website.
• Then, Select your preferred language.
• Click on ‘My Aadhar’, and on the ‘Get Aadhar’ tab, select the ‘Check Aadhar Status‘.

• Enter the EID date and time as specified in the acknowledgment slip.
• Enter the CAPTCHA and submit the form

• Click on Check Status to know the status of your child’s aadhar application form.

Documents Required:

• Child’s Birth Certificate/ Discharge certificate.
• Parent’s Aadhar Card
• School identity Card
• Passport-size photograph of child.

Validity of Baal Aadhar Card:

• Baal Aadhar Card will be blue in color. This is mainly to know the difference between the adult Aadhar and Baal Aadhar card.
• This is valid till the child turns 5 years and then this aadhar card will become invalid.
• After the child turns 5 years old, they need to provide their biometric data.
• Also, now the Aadhar card will be same as that of the adults aadhar card.

Fee for child Aadhar Enrollment

The application fee for 0-5 age children is free.

For children between 5 and 7 years old, the fee is free for biometric updates.

Also, for children between 15 and 17 years old, the fee is free for biometric updates.
